James Painter

James was the original founder of MPI Data Limited back in 2012 when it was established as part of the Enhance Group Limited.

James has a successful track record in greenfield businesses, being the principal founder of Enhance Group Limited in 2005, which he exited in 2018 to PE. James was also co-founder of Concentric Financial Services Limited in 2018, which he successfully exited through a trade sale to TEAM plc in 2023, a business in which he remains a shareholder.

James also acts as a Non-Executive Director for the sustainability business consultancy, True Limited. In a voluntary role, James sits on the working party for the Jersey Finance ‘Jersey for Good’ strategy.

Previous to his entrepreneurial career beginning in 2005, James worked in investment roles from stockbroking through to discretionary portfolio management and fiduciary investment oversight.
